In light of the forthcoming postal strikes sending information to us by email may help avoid additional delays. Please ensure that your email and attachments do not exceed 20MB as these will be filtered out and will not reach us. Read our guidance for help to reduce the size of your email and attachments.

  • Guardianship

Customers are reminded that electronic submission of documents is our preferred method for all guardianship matters. Please note that there is no requirement to follow up an electronic submission with hard copies unless requested to do so.

For guardianship related matters we ask that case references, where known, are quoted in your email. Please email: opgorders@scotcourts.gov.uk

  • Powers of Attorney

Customers are advised to use the EPOAR registration facility whenever possible for new applications.

All other power of attorney related mail such as revocations, change of circumstances etc. should be emailed to opg@scotcourts.gov.uk   Please quote the case reference in all email correspondence. The case reference will begin with ‘PG’.
