When submitting a power of attorney for registration, most users of the postal registration service provide all of the required information in the registration form.
Providing the granter’s date of birth is essential, as it confirms they are of legal age and assists in identifying them on the Public Register. Please note that from 30 October 2023, if the granter’s date of birth is not provided in the registration form the power of attorney will be rejected and returned to the sender.
This will apply to new submissions made from 30 October 2023 and not those already submitted and waiting to be processed.
