The Office of Public Guardian in Scotland will be hosting a free online webinar on 8 May 2024 from 10.30am – 11.30am for staff working in the financial sector.

Staff working in any of the following services may find the webinar useful: banking, pensions, investments, insurance, finance, Department of Work and Pensions, Social Security Scotland etc.
The webinar will focus on the following topics:
- The role of the Public Guardian in Scotland
- Continuing powers of attorney
- Certificates of registration and verification checks
- Jurisdiction differences
- Certificates of appointment issued for access to funds and court order appointments
- Investigation remit
