The following documents form part of the postal submission:

• Signed PoA document, incorporating a completed certificate of capacity (schedule 1).
• Completed registration form signed by the attorney. 
• Registration fee, payable by cheque or postal order made payable to the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service. There are certain circumstances where you might be entitled to a fee exemption.

If using the Royal Mail postal service please make sure that the correct postal amount is paid, as otherwise your documentation will not reach us and there will be no record of your documents having been sent.

The processing time is taking longer than we would like, please be assured we are working hard to reduce the wait time. We provide a weekly update on our current processing times to keep you informed.

If you need us to process your documentation more quickly due to urgent circumstances, we can provide a priority service.
